AUGUST 2022 EVENTS
For Responsive Communication -
We are running some 1:1 Intensive Interaction sessions with Jemma during August. This is a great way to learn about your young person, if they use ways other than words to communicate.
If you are finding it hard to connect and understand behaviours then this is for you! Jemma will teach you the methods to use to communicate with your young person in ways which are meaningful to them.
All the details are in the flyer below, please email Bettina on firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place!
For Holiday Activities
The summer holidays are nearly here and we are offering some sessions during August. Please click below for more info We are running 2 timetables - one for 7-12 year olds and one for 13+. We will also be running some sessions with Signal film at the end of August.
Please email Emma at email@example.com to book - Emma works Monday to Wednesday each week so don't worry if she doesn't get back to you straight away.
Autus Cumbria is based in Barrow-in-Furness. We are a not for profit organisation. Grants enable us to offer subsidised activities. Any profits made through training and workshops are ploughed back into our work. We thank our funders:
National Lottery, Tesco Bags for Help Scheme & Dong Energy (windfarms)
Although a small organisation we have big ambitions to extend our services and would love to hear from you with your suggestions about how we could extend our support of the autistic community in Cumbria. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
