March 2022

We’d like to introduce you to Emma, our newest team member! Emma will be with us part time, helping out with

the youth groups and up-coming projects.  You will see her at groups and events as well as here on Facebook.
She has a real passion for helping the autism community so we are excited to have her!

Welcome Emma!

We may not have been able to meet in person during coronavirus   but that  didn't stop us from moving our youth groups online!

Our youth groups mainly met online in 2020 and 2021, although they did mange to meet up outside when permitted by government guidance. The groups are now all back to Face-to-Face meetings and are looking forward to welcoming new members over the next year.

"I think this online group is marvellous! My son really looks forward to it. He’s fed up, but the time with the group helps him forget. He loves seeing everyone."

"I’m enjoying seeing the leaders and my friends from youth club, it’s fun and it always makes me feel happy."

HELP US RAISE £500 TO SUPPORT OUR YOUTH GROUPS                                              10th December 2020

In the run up to Christmas we've started planning for our activities next year. We rely on funding and donations to keep our clubs and activities running and this year some of the events that would usually help us haven't happened. So if you are thinking of making a donation to an organisation instead of sending Christmas cards please take a look at our Just Giving page (follow the link below) We really appreciate your support

DO YOU HAVE 10 MINUTES TO FILL OUT OUR SURVEY?                                   1st December 2020

We're gathering information about the types of support most wanted by autistic adults in South Cumbria. We're asking autistic adults, their family members and professionals who work with them to complete our survey. The results of the survey will be used to help us develop our services and will be used to inform other organisations of the need in the area.  Just click on the link below

We’d like to introduce you to Caroline, the newest member of our team. Caroline will be working with us to provide a coaching service for adults (18+) with ASC. The sessions will be led by the individual, but we hope that we can help people with a range of issues such as health and wellbeing, self-care, social interaction and employment skills.
